Separate room work from property work
Room-turn schedules and cleaning checklists organize work by room and service date. Inspection logs record whether a defined standard was checked. Linen and cleaning-supply workbooks track quantities and replenishment, while maintenance-request and preventive-maintenance files follow assets, issues, ownership, and due dates. Choose the narrowest format that matches the handoff you need to control.
Define statuses that staff can use
Prepare room or asset identifiers, zones, task owners, inspection criteria, priority levels, and a small set of clear statuses. Agree on when a task moves from reported to assigned, completed, and verified. Keep safety checks aligned with the property’s approved procedures and local requirements; a spreadsheet is a coordination aid, not a substitute for required inspections or specialist records.
Connect the handoffs without duplicating them
Use Hotels for front-office room availability and broad property controls, Guests for service recovery or guest requests, and Staffing for shifts and training. The complete library shows only published documents, so an empty collection does not imply that a workbook is already available.
