About Hospitality Grid

About us

Hospitality Grid is a focused library of downloadable Excel workbooks for hotel, lodging, venue, and food-service operations.

Practical files for everyday operating work

We help operators find an editable starting point for tasks such as room records, reservations, cost control, staffing, guest service, and housekeeping. Every published template has its own guide, real workbook previews, and a direct XLSX download.

The library is free to browse and does not require an account. Choose a workbook for your task, review its instructions and assumptions, then adapt the inputs to your property or venue.

How we work

From an operating task to an editable file

Published claims are tied to the workbook that visitors can preview and download.

  1. 01

    Frame the job

Define the task, inputs, frequency, and intended output.

  2. 02

    Build the workbook

Create worksheets, prepared ranges, formulas, validations, and instructions around that task.

  3. 03

    Exercise the file

Open and recalculate the XLSX, inspect its structure, and compare the downloadable bytes with the stored QA record.

  4. 04

    Write from evidence

Explain setup, limits, and use from the final workbook manifest rather than generic promises.

Editorial ownership

Named bylines, visible responsibilities

Maya Brooks and Ethan Cole are stable Hospitality Grid house pseudonyms. They identify editorial responsibilities consistently; they do not claim outside credentials, employment history, or an unrecorded human certification.

Workbook structure and formula QA byline

Ethan Cole

Ethan Cole is the consistent QA byline shown only when recorded checks pass for worksheet structure, formulas, validations, recalculation, and the published XLSX bytes.

  • Appears only with a persisted passing QA record
  • Covers worksheet structure, formulas, and recalculation
  • Links the QA evidence to the published XLSX bytes

Use with judgment

A workbook is a tool—not your system of record.

Review rates, thresholds, formulas, and assumptions for your property and jurisdiction. Hospitality Grid files do not replace a PMS, POS, accounting platform, payroll provider, attorney, accountant, or official compliance guidance.
